Overview

WashQueue is a wireframe and clickable-prototype set for a pressure-washer service booking app, mapping the full customer journey from service selection through scheduling and payment.

Why This Was Hard

Booking flows fail quietly when a step is unclear — the goal was to walk through every screen and state (including empty, loading, and error states) before a single line of code was written, so the dev team inherited a validated flow rather than an ambiguous spec.

What I Built

  • Complete screen map — service selection, scheduling, address entry, and payment
  • Clickable Figma prototype used to validate flows with the client before development
  • Empty, loading, and error states designed for every key screen, not just the happy path
  • Annotated design handoff with specs ready for the development team

Tech Stack

  • Design: Figma
  • Prototyping: Interactive Figma prototype

Collaboration

Every screen and state — including empty, loading, and error states, not just the happy path — was walked through with the client before a single line of code was written. That review cycle surfaced booking-flow ambiguities early, when they were a five-minute Figma edit instead of a rebuilt component, and the development team inherited an already-validated flow with an annotated handoff rather than an ambiguous spec.

Outcome / Impact

Gave the client a validated, development-ready booking flow, catching UX gaps and edge cases before any engineering time was spent.
